OXFORD United will welcome Premier League side Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on August 23, it has been announced.
The U’s were handed a home tie against Patrick Vieira’s men in the second round, following the penalty shoot-out win against Swansea City in midweek.
Palace, who finished 12th in the top flight last season, were one of 13 Premier League sides entering the competition at the second round.

The teams last met in a competitive match on Boxing Day 1998, when Dean Windass scored in a 3-1 defeat at The Manor Ground in the second tier.
They faced each other at Selhurst Park in a pre-season friendly two years ago, with the U’s losing 2-1 after Cameron Brannagan put them in front.
United beat Swansea 5-3 on penalties, after fighting back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in 90 minutes.
