An Abingdon man has been banned from driving for six months after he pleaded guilty to speeding near Luton airport.

Mohammed Hussain, 35, of Banbury Court, Vineyard, was recorded driving a Vauxhall Insignia at 66mph on A1081 Airport Way at 8.07am on September 2 , 2020.

The road has a 50mph speed limit.

He was fined £293, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and court costs of £110.

At Luton Magistrates Court on August 9, he was disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending.

He was also given four points on his licence.
