A weapon wielding offender in a McDonald’s car park threatened to assault a man and damage his car .

The incident took place on October 4 between 10pm and 11pm at the McDonald's in Benson.

The offender allegedly pulled a ‘long’ weapon from the boot of his car before approaching the victim and threatening to damage his car and harm him.

At this, the victim fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 10in tall, skinny built, with short blonde hair, light coloured stubble and a tattoo on his neck.

He was believed to have been driving a silver Vauxhall Astra.

Police are now appealing for witnesses who may have dash camera footage or information.

One arrest has been made in connection with this incident.
