NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of South Oxfordshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated four: Pizza Cafe at 2 The Arcade, Wallingford, Oxon; rated on October 13

• Rated two: The Queens Head in The Street, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford rated on October 13

• Rated one: Bipuls Kitchen in Lower Road, Chinnor, Oxon rated on October 13

The following is for a pub:

• Rated three: The Unicorn at Colmore Lane, Kingwood rated on October 13

Plus one rating for a takeaway:

• Rated four: Prince of India at 2b The Parade, Edinburgh Drive, Didcot rated on October 13

The scheme gives businesses a rating from five to 0 so you can make more informed choices about where to eat food.
