Fire crews saved a kitten that had been stuck in a kitchen wall for 14 hours.

Over the weekend a fire crew from Abingdon Fire Station responded to a small animal rescue in Grove.

On arrival crew were faced with a kitten that had found its way into a void in the kitchen wall and had been stuck for 14 hours.

Using small tools, crews were able to cut a small hole in the wall and use a camera to get eyes on the feline, then coax it out through a small opening where the owner was able to pull it out.
