An opticians in Didcot has sponsored a local football team to provide kit for the new season.
Specsavers in Orchard Street teamed up with Didcot Town Youth Football Club to sponsor its under 11 boys’ team.
Club chairman, Kevin Lyons, said: “We are very grateful to Specsavers Didcot for providing the kit.

“Their support and partnership are vital for the team to wear the Didcot Town Youth FC red and white colours, allowing the children to feel part of a team as well as helping with their football development.”
Members of the team visited the store to express their thanks and a few even had their eyes checked.
