Six men were detained after a frantic police chase through some Oxfordshire woods.
The incident took place on Friday, May 3, as Thames Valley Police officers were on patrol in Boxhill Woods in Abingdon.
They received reports that a man was in the area with an extendable baton and went to investigate.

A foot chase then broke out between officers and the men and minutes later they were faced by six men in the woods who were then detained.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “A foot chase for PCSOs Susie Morley & Ali Blood yesterday after responding to a report of a man with an extendable baton in Boxhill Woods Abingdon.
“They were on patrol in the area and arrived within a minute of the call, where they were faced with six males.
“Three males were detained by the PCSOs and three males by ICR & NHPT officers.”
