A kebab and pizza shop has been told to improve by hygiene inspectors.
Friends takeaway on Bath Street in Abingdon was visited by Vale of White Horse District Council’s Environmental Health Team on Wednesday, April 17.
Inspectors found that improvement was 'necessary' and handed the establishment a two-out-of-five hygiene rating.

The main issue outlined in the report was Friends’ hygienic handling of food which was found to be requiring 'improvement'.
This section refers to the hygienic handling of the food served including the preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage.
Inspectors were satisfied with the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, rating both as 'generally satisfactory'.
This includes having an appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control to enable good food hygiene.
Friends’ management of food safety which includes having a system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat was also rated 'generally satisfactory'.
This also concerns whether there is evidence that staff know about food safety and if the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
“Our lavish and delicious menu includes tasty dishes like kebabs from different cuisines, pizzas, wraps, burgers and even fried chickens,” reads the takeaway’s website.
“But we have something special for your family as well and our delicious kids’ menu will woo your kids.”
