A fruit and veg stall at Abingdon's Monday market is hoping to arrange a new date in advance of the summer Bank Holiday.
The town's Monday market features fruit and vegetables, flowers, a bakery, a fishmonger and other sellers.
Tom Bennett, who helps to run David Bennett Fruiterers, said he was hopeful the town council would allow a Saturday market in advance of the bank holiday, as there will be no market on August 26.

Mr Bennett, 32, said: "Our firm has been going for three generations since 1986 and we have been serving the people of Abingdon for many years.
"Our customers here are incredible - they are so loyal and get in the queue rain or shine.
"We bring our produce fresh from Birmingham and Evesham - I'm up at 2am on market day to pick it up and get our stall set up.
"Hopefully we will be able to fit in an alternative market on the Saturday before the bank holiday."
