A TRIAL has started for a man accused of wounding another in Garford.
Oleksandr Soldatenko, of Garford, near Abingdon, is on trial at Oxford Crown Court this week charged with several offences.
The 33-year-old is charged with Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent after allegedly causing harm to Vasil Nikolov on March 31 this year.

He is also accused of damaging a caravan belonging to Ben Carter, possession of an offence weapon, namely a broken bottle, affray, and Section 18 – wounding with intent to Vasil Mladelov.
All offences allegedly took place on the same date in March in Garford.
The trial is expected to last three days and a Russian interpreter has been required.
