Free electric vehicle (EV) charging will be available in Abingdon next week.
Compleo Charging Solutions UK, a manufacturer of EV charge points, is offering the service at its UK headquarters on September 9 to mark World EV Day.
From 9am to 5pm on Monday, all EV drivers are welcome at Compleo's Abingdon headquarters to make use of this offer.
The firm said visitors will be offered free Wi-Fi and a space to work, or can take a 20 minute walk into the town centre, or a short walk to either McDonald's or Tesco.
World EV Day is an international initiative which aims to highlight the role of sustainable transport and EVs in reducing carbon emissions.
Compleo said it is "proud to support this initiative by encouraging anyone in the Abingdon area to visit and charge up for free," adding it is "committed to driving the transition to a greener future".
The company’s seven chargers at the site are equipped to handle a wide range of EVs, ensuring everyone can take advantage of the offer.
Clare Nicol, head of marketing at Compleo UK, said: "We are excited to participate in World EV Day by providing free charging to the EV community.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with EV drivers, showcase our cutting-edge charging solutions, and give a little something back to EV drivers."
In addition to offering free charging, Compleo will also have experts on-site to answer any questions about EV charging technology, provide demonstrations of the company's latest products and discuss the future of electric transport.
Visitors on September 9 will also be able to have a look at the company's new 200kW charger which is undergoing pre-commissioning and final checks.
The firm said: "As the demand for electric vehicles continues to grow, Compleo remains at the forefront of innovation, delivering reliable and efficient charging solutions that meet the needs of today’s drivers.
"Our participation in World EV Day reflects our dedication to supporting the transition to a cleaner, greener world."
