Search and rescue teams joined the hunt for a 67-year-old woman missing for over a week.
Parkrun in University Parks in Oxford was cancelled 'at the last minute' this morning (October 12) when organisers were told a ‘major police operation’ was taking place.
Thames Valley Police confirmed a Lowland Search Oxfordshire operation was carried out as part of efforts to find the missing woman.
Zhihui was last seen at around 6pm on Thursday (October 3) in Croft Road, Marston.
She is Chinese, is around 5ft 3ins tall and has shoulder length brown/grey hair, which is likely to be worn in a low bun.
She was last seen wearing grey trousers with a purple puffer jacket.
She is known to frequent areas walkable from Croft Road.
Police patrols were stepped up and Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue joined the hunt for her on October 4.
Superintendent Bruce Riddell, LPA Commander for Oxford City, said: “Zhihui is a regular walker, and goes out walking twice-a-day. Her typical route includes up Headington Road, along Headley Way and down Marston Road.
“She may frequent Marston Road Sports Ground, or have headed towards Fairfax Avenue, University Parks or possibly the River Cherwell.
“I ask any residents living in the aforementioned areas to please check any doorbell or CCTV cameras in case it has captured anything which may assist our investigation."
