Oxfordshire has some great pubs, and always has. If your local has been here since the 80s, as many of them have, it might feature in this picture gallery.
This week on looking back, we went through the archive to find pictures of pubs, publicans and patrons in the 1980s.

There was plenty to choose from. From Charlbury to Marsh Gibbon, Oxford to Bicester, pictures of landlords or ladies and their traditional drinking spots make up a huge part of the county’s communities.
Many of the buildings haven’t changed a bit in three decades, something which may or may not surprise the regulars.
