The cause of death of a man living in Wantage has been confirmed by a coroner, an inquest has heard.
Peter Fielding, 40, was found dead at his home address in Whitworth Way, Grove, Wantage on November 17 this year.
A police officer verified his death at 6.15pm. It is unknown who alerted the emergency services.
Mr Fielding was a soldier for the British Army.
An inquest opening was held at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Monday, November 25.

After a post-mortem examination, his cause of death was provided to the inquest as "hanging".
Coroner Nicholas Graham has set a date for a full inquest to take place at the same court on March 31 next year at 11.45am.
