Home Bargains has announced it will close its Oxfordshire stores for three days.

This comes as the major British discount retailer announced it will close all of its 617 stores across the UK for three days.

The closure will affect those planning to shop later this year on Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26) and New Year's Day (January 1).

The affected Oxfordshire stores include: Botley Road, Oxford; Kings Park, Wantage; Faringdon Retail Park; and Banbury Cross Retail Park.

All the stores at the family-run business were closed during the same period last year.

At the time, Home Bargains said it was proud to give its teams additional time off to spend with family and friends during the holiday season.
