DIDCOT Community Gospel Choir gave a boost to an open-air procession by Christians on Good Friday.
They sang gospel songs from the steps of the Orchard Centre during a service led by Rev Edward Carter, of St Peter’s church, including readings.
About 300 people gathered around a wooden cross carried by Malcolm Edge, of Fleet Meadow Baptist church, at the head of a procession from the town’s Methodist church.
