CHILDREN were treated to a morning of exciting tales in celebration of National Storytelling Week.
Professional storyteller Richard York entertained children at Millbrook School in Grove near Wantage, earlier this week, after being invited by developer David Wilson Homes. The aim of the event was to teach the children how storytelling has allowed tales to survive and adapt over thousands of years and across continents.

Faye Charlton, deputy head teacher at Millbrook School, praised the event: “The children absolutely loved hearing Richard’s stories.
"He had us on the edge of our seats, from start to finish, with every plot twist and turn."
Mr York said it was a pleasure to work with the pupils and teachers of the school.
