It is distressing to hear that drug dealers have been frequenting Didcot’s Fleet Meadow estate.
But police officers stationed in the town have vowed to tackle the problem after being alerted by residents at a neighbourhood action group meeting.
Police officers need to use any means possible to get information to target the dealers, and going around the estate on their bikes could be even more effective than using patrol cars.
We hope their pro-active approach soon starts to be rewarded with arrests — otherwise crime including burglary could begin to rise.
