Sir, I have been resident in Didcot since 1967 and I agree with Margaret Davies that Didcot deserves better. Cutting the number of beds at Didcot Hospital from 24 down to 12, and to say that the GPs cannot cope is ridiculous. Do the health chiefs not realise the number of people who are moving to Didcot? We will need more not less health care, unless they believe that they will be a super race that will never need hospitals or doctors. It is time now to rethink all our needs as a matter of urgency.
