Sir, I wonder if I may, through your newspaper, say a big thank you to the people who came to my aid after a nasty fall in Bridge Street, Abingdon, on the morning of Monday, October 12.
A nurse who was nearby, a gentleman who came with a first-aid box, and a lady who worked for the council. These kind people stayed with me until the ambulance arrived to take me to the hospital.
As well as the care given to me personally, the lady from the council also promised to sort out my concern of possibly receiving a penalty ticket for over-staying my time at the Rye Farm car park.
I am most grateful to them all.
Mrs Ann Carter Worthington Way Wantage
