MORE than 10,000 racegoers are expected to flock to the Cazenove Capital Point-to-Point and Country Day at Lockinge on Easter Monday.
In addition to six point-to-point races, there are plenty of other attractions at the best-attended and oldest sporting event in south Oxfordshire, which the Old Berkshire Hunt have hosted since 1830.
The fixture also provides the chance for younger jockeys to experience race riding, with two pony races from 12.30pm.
This year, in addition to their traditional hound pack, the Old Berks Hunt will parade their pack of Teckle hounds, who are tagged as the 'sporting sausage dog'.
There is also terrier racing, a dog show and Easter family fun.
Gates open at 9am, with the first point-to-point race going off at 2pm.
