Matt Launchbury scored his second century of the season to help in-form Marcham to a five-wicket win over Minster Lovell in the second round of the OCA League's Airey Cup on Saturday.

Chasing Minster's 217-7, Marcham were in some difficulty at 63-3, but Launchbury's 121 not out, which contained seven sixes and 12 fours, proved the difference between the sides.

Marcham had earlier reduced Minster to 62-4, before a partnership of 102 between Keith Wright (56) and captain Ben Tew (44), plus some lusty blows from Jamie Cross took them up to their final total.

Faringdon stormed through after shooting out Brill for 23 for a 180-run victory.

oThere were no signs of demons in the pitch as Faringdon posted 203-7, Rob Owen top-scoring with 88.

But Brill collapsed in spectactular fashion with Richard Marlow taking 3-1 and Russell King 3-3.

In the Telegraph Cup second round, Russell Jeffries hit a century for West Ilsley as they beat Uffington by 123 runs.

Jeffries scored 101 out of Ilsley's 205-9, then Mike Wallace (5-29) helped to skittle Uffington for 82.

Clifton Hampden's Dave Barber scored 93 in his side's 38-run win over Stonesfield.

Steve McComb starred for Dorchester as they brushed Steventon aside by 119 runs in the second round of the Steve Dixon Cup.

He hit 101 in Dorchester's 256-5, before taking 5-34 as Steventon were bowled out for 137.

Sunningwell crashed to 34 all out and a nine-wicket defeat against Hailey, for whom Andy Woods took 5-6 and Tahir Akram 3-3.

Chalgrove beat Kilkenny by nine runs.

Chris May's 5-15 restricted Chalgrove to 146 all out, but Kilkenny were then bowled out for 137, despite 60 from Jason Penn.

Marcham 2nd were edged out by Freeland 2nd in a one-run thriller.

Deepak Patel took 5-24 as Freeland were bowled out for 100, but Marcham then fell for 99, with Martin Symonds taking 3-16 and Max Goodwin 3-35.
