Didcot Boys Under 9s footballers rounded off a magnificent season by winning a competition at West Ham United's Upton Park ground last week.
Competing against 16 teams in the George Paris Tournament, Didcot emerged triumphant. One of their opponents included Mitchell Bergkamp, son of the Arsenal legend Dennis.
Their winning team at Upton Park was Ben Maidment, Ben Hardy, Rhys Morgan, Seth Humphries, James Fleming, George Elliott, Jake Laing, Jack Powell, Callum Cheadle.
During their Oxford Mail Boys League campaign, Didcot won all 22 matches to land the Under 9 Red League title, while they beat Littlemore 4-1 in the final of the cup.
In addition, the successful lads carried off both the main and plate prizes at the Abingdon youth tournament.
