TOM Anstice enjoyed a prosperous day in the final Youth Development League fixture of the season at Wormwood Scrubs.
The Radley AC under 20 athlete won the javelin in the South/West 1b meet for Team Oxfordshire, with a personal best of 64.18m – an improvement of 8.38.
It was also a club record and moves Anstice, who has improved by 11m over the course of 2016, up to seventh in the national rankings for his age group.
His success did not stop there as he also won the shot with a best of 11.04 and threw 29.54 to take victory in the discus.
It also turned out to be a record breaking day for clubmates Alex Miell-Ingram and Harry New.
Miell-Ingram continued his good form by beating his own 3,000m under 20 Radley club record by triumphing in 9mins 35.1secs.
And New put in an outstanding performance, equalling the under 17 400m hurdles club mark of 58.0.
They were not the only Radley athletes to compete for Oxon, with Harry Woodcock achieving three pbs in the under 17 shot (9.03), javelin (32.73) and hammer (25.33).
l ABINGDON'S Mark Lewy was the first vet 50 runner home in 25th overall at the Down Tow Up Flow half marathon.
