VALTTERI Bottas declared himself satisfied with a fifth place finish at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
The Finn, who drives for Grove-based Williams, avoided an first-lap collision between Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg to run in the top five early on.
After pitting on lap 28 Bottas fell back to eighth, but he made up ground to finish fifth.
Teammate Felipe Massa endured a difficult race, finishing 13th after he was forced to start from the pits due to a throttle issue, before picking up a puncture.
Bottas said: "I think it was a very good day for us.
"We scored some good points.
"It’s a shame that we lost points with Felipe’s technical issues, but from my side I’m happy with the race."
