EDDIE Pepperell remains in the hunt for his best result of the season after making the cut at the Nordea Masters.
The Abingdon golfer, who has not had a top-20 finish since last July, shot a one-over-par 74 to reach the halfway stage two-under and in a share of 17th place.
Starting his second round this afternoon on the back nine, the Frilford Heath member picked up a birdie on the tenth, but bogeys at the 15th, 18th and third saw him slip back.
A birdie at the seventh reversed the slide and he will start Saturday’s third round in Sweden six strokes behind leader Jamie Donaldson.
