STEVENTON finally picked up their first North Berks League win as they came away from Harwell Village with a 2-0 victory, writes RICHARD UNDERWOOD.
Alex Dawson and Dave Johns’s penalty secured the points.
Hanney United saw off bottom side North Oxford 2-0, with goals from Joe Richardson and James Bishop.
In Division 2, Watlington Town defeated Sutton Courtenay 4-2.
Adam Holloway (2), Jon Little and Joel Thompson were on target, with Sutton hitting back through Craig Davis and Rhys Thompson.
Zachary Pettifer hit a hat-trick in Letcombe Res’s 5-0 win against Hagbourne United in Division 3.
Angelo Fragata and Iggy Iliott scored the others.
Ardington booked their place in the quarter-finals of the North Berks League Cup with a 3-2 win against Marcham.
Jonny James’s hat-trick proved the difference between the two sides, while Tom Graham hit back with a brace for Marcham.
Ardington also had Matthew Pedder sent off.
Division 1 outfit Stanford in the Vale suffered a shock 4-0 defeat against Division 2 side Kintbury Rangers Res in the North Berks Charity Shield quarter-final.
Luke Conner (2), Lee Franklin and Kye Williams were on target.

l DAN Parry hit a hat-trick as Saxton Rovers cruised into the semi-finals of the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy with a 5-0 win over Kintbury Rangers.
Parry put Saxton in front, and then doubled the lead from the penalty spot.
He completed his treble on the half-hour, giving Rovers a 3-0 interval lead.
After the break, further goals from Niall Hodgkins and Frank Haines completed the rout.
