ALICE Hopkins is to take on some of the country’s biggest talents at this weekend’s British Indoor Championships in Birmingham.

The event is the final opportunity to secure selection for March’s IAAF World Indoor Championships, which are to be held at the same venue.

Radley’s Hopkins, who is coached by Marcia Marriott, competes in Saturday’s 60m hurdles.

She will line up in the heats from 2.25pm alongside the likes of Olympian Katarina Johnson-Thompson.

Meanwhile, Alex Wall-Clarke won the Bramley 20-mile race.

The Southampton AC runner, whose second claim club is Abingdon, triumphed in 1hr 54mins 23secs.

Teammate Thomas Coney set a personal best when crossing 41st, while James Clayton registered a new mark to finish 27th in the 10-mile event.

Elsewhere, Alex Miell-Ingram came 18th in the senior men’s race during the final round of the Chiltern Cross Country League in Milton Keynes, helping Radley finish 20th in Division 2.

Quinn Miell-Ingram was sixth in the under 13 boys event, with Anabel Pozniak 30th in the combined under 17/20 women’s race.
