But a bad knee injury suffered by David Murphy did provide a sour note for the Railwaymen.
League counterparts Kidlington beat Premier Division Central side Banbury United 2-0.
Fellow Division 1 Central outfit North Leigh earned a 1-0 win against Hellenic League club Abingdon Town, thanks to a Henry Landers strike.
Thame United drew 0-0 at Chalfont St Peter, of the Isthmian League.
