GROVE-BASED Williams return to action this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix, hoping for a positive second half to the Formula 1 season.
The team headed into the two-week shutdown on the back of a disappointing first 12 races.
Williams are bottom of the constructors’ championship with just four points.
But they will hope to build on a positive test in Budapest earlier this month when they take to the grid at Spa on Sunday.
Alex Lynn was thrilled after helping Aston Martin finish fourth in the GTE Pro Class at the 6 Hours of Silverstone.
Disqualification for the Porsche team saw the Grove-based driver and teammate Maxime Martin bumped up a place.
Lynn said: “I was very happy with that result.
“I think if we’d had an absolutely perfect race we could have been fourth on the road, and that would have been a podium with the Porsche’s exclusion – that would have been an incredible effort.
“That’s really pleasing, because going forward we know we can make more steps.”
