GAVIN Whyte is set to miss Oxford United's crunch basement clash with Plymouth Argyle next weekend after receiving a call-up for Northern Ireland.
The winger, who scored with his first touch on his senior debut against Israel last month, is in Michael O'Neill's squad for two UEFA Nations League fixtures.
O’Neill: “Gavin (Whyte) has got off on the right mark, his form has been good at Oxford & he has got to continue what he is doing.” #GAWA

They are away to Austria on October 12, before a visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina three days later.
It means Whyte will not be available for the U's home game with Plymouth - which as it stands is a meeting of Sky Bet League One's bottom two.
