FORMER Aston Rowant bowler Linsey Smith has been called up by England for the first time.
The left-arm spinner is included in a squad of 15 for the ICC Women’s World T20, which takes place in the West Indies between November 9-24.
Smith is one of three uncapped players selected after impressing for Loughborough Lightning in the Kia Super League.
She sits sixth in the list for all-time wicket takers in the competition, claiming 24 victims across three seasons.
