BEN Goodall has capped a successful season by earning a call-up for the Great Britain 17-21 squad at next month’s World Age Championships.
The tumbler, from Harwell, will compete in St Petersburg, Russia, from November 15-18.
Goodall’s selection follows his gold medal winning performance at the British Championships last month, when he scooped the age 17-21 tumbling title despite aggravating a long-standing back injury in the weeks leading up to the event.
The 20-year-old’s season started well, when triumphing at both British qualifiers.
Goodall also represented Great Britain at the Scalabis Cup in Portgual, claiming individual silver and team gold.
He is now hoping his back problems do not stop him from fulfilling his selection.
