GEORGE Seacole scored with the last kick of the game as North Leigh hit back from 3-0 down to grab a stun-ning 3-3 draw at Kidlington on Saturday.

The hosts, bottom of the Evo-Stik South League Division 1 Central table, looked certain to record only a second win of the campaign after a double from Declan Benjamin and Tommy Franklin put them three goals up inside 17 minutes.

Seacole reduced the deficit nine minutes after half-time, but Kidlington were cruising and led 3-1 into the fourth minute of injury time.

Henry Landers set up a grandstand finish by making it 3-2, before Seacole netted a dramatic equaliser.

Benjamin opening the scoring with a brilliant 25-yeard free-kick in the seventh minute.

He then fired in a shot six minutes later which took a deflection on the way to the net.

Franklin rose the highest from a free-kick to make it 3-0 as Kidlington took control.

The Millers gradually started to get back in the match before the inter-

val.

And they picked up where they left off after the restart, Seacole reducing the deficit with a fierce strike past Sam Warrell.

North Leigh continued on top as Kidlington’s players began to fade.

But having seen out the 90 minutes, it looked like the hosts had done enough for victory.

However, there followed a stunning finale.

In the fourth minute of time added on, Landers smashed home to make it 3-2.

And then some sloppy play from Kidlington at the restart saw North Leigh regain possession.

A long ball forward found Seacole, who fired home to clinch a dramatic draw.

Thame United fell to a 5-0 defeat against Peterborough Sports, with the hosts scoring four goals in 16 first-half minutes.

Avelino Vieira opened the scoring on eight minutes, with Jim Stevenson (15), Viera (22) and Lewis Hilliard (24) virtually wrapping the game up in the first quarter.

Spencer Weir-Daley completed the scoring two minutes after half-time from the penalty spot on a day to forget for Thame.

Didcot Town’s home game against Bedford Town was called off on health & safety concerns following a gas leak, which left the ground without hot water or heating.
