OXFORD United's rivals at the bottom of the Sky Bet League One table endured a mixed afternoon.
Karl Robinson's side were not in action, with their scheduled match postponed due to opponents Accrington Stanley remaining in the Emirates FA Cup.
Overall it was a decent day for the 21st-placed U's, with only one side in the bottom half, Scunthorpe United, winning.
Elsewhere, Bradford City stayed in 23rd place following a 1-1 draw at Burton Albion.

And two sides just above the U's suffered defeat.
Rochdale's 2-1 loss at Barnsley means they are only one point ahead of United, but have played two more games.
Plymouth Argyle, who went down 1-0 at Wycombe Wanderers, are in the same boat and are just two points better off than Dale.
It means United would climb out of the relegation zone if they avoid defeat at home to Barnsley on Tuesday night.
