WILLIAMS say they do not expect to take part in the first Formula 1 test until Wednesday.
The Grove-based team, who finished last in the constructor standings in 2018, have made the decision due to delays in building their new car.
Williams had initially cancelled their shakedown at the weekend, before announcing they would miss the first day of pre-season testing in Barcelona on Monday.
Deputy team principal Claire Williams has now revealed the team have suffered a further setback.
She said: “It is looking more likely than not that we will now not be in a position to run on track until Wednesday at the earliest.
“This is obviously extremely disappointing, but it is unfortunately the situation we are in.
“We will be getting the FW42 on track as soon as we are able.”
