DUNCAN Talbot continued his impressive indoor season when landing double gold at the UK Masters Championships at Lee Valley.

The Abingdon AC veteran won the V65 high jump with an effort of 1.41m – a southern counties masters record.

Talbot also set a time of 12.53secs to triumph in the 60m hurdles.

It proved to be his third double gold of the season as he finished his indoor campaign unbeaten.

Meanwhile, local runners put in strong performances at the UK Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships in Loughborough.

Abingdon’s Olivia Martin was seventh in the under 15 girls event, with Isabelle Martin ninth in the under 13 race.

Clubmate Fiona Bunn crossed 29th in the senior women’s competition.

Radley’s Quinn Miell-Ingram was 40th in the under 13 boys’ event.
