YOUNG striker Ryan Macdonald has signed a one-year contract with Banbury United.
The 18-year-old, who made his senior debut in January 2018, has played 15 games for the Puritans in the Evo-Stik South League.
Manager Mike Ford is delighted to keep Macdonald, who progressed through Banbury’s youth team.
He said: “It's fantastic news that Ryan has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the football club.
“He has a great attitude and worked very hard with the first team squad to develop and improve this year which he has done.
“With the talent he has, next season can be an exciting one for Ryan."
Meanwhile, former Didcot Town striker Felipe Barcelos has joined Thatcham Town.
