United boss Karl Robinson has targeted a striker for much of the summer transfer window, with fans delighted to see another forward added to the squad.

Stuart Blay, from Thatcham, said: "It's a great signing, we need some youngsters with some decent legs up front and definitely another striker."

Agyei was a free agent after leaving the Premier League side and Darren, from Bicester, felt the new addition was sorely needed: "It's good to see a player coming in, because [Jamie] Mackie's the sort of player you want to come on in the last 20 minutes to annoy the defenders."

Tom, from Buckingham, added: "He's a good age and needs to kick on, so hopefully it'll be us he does it with."

The U's supporters were all encouraged by last week's 1-1 draw at Sunderland, with all four thinking United should have come away with all three points.

Shirley Blay, from Oxford, was 'very impressed' with the performance and joined her fellow Yellows in praising Tariqe Fosu's display.

Fosu was heavily tipped to score today by the four fans, who all predicted a win this afternoon.

They were also united in their belief that the U's can finish in the play-off positions this season if the club signs a 'proven goalscorer'.
