BRISTOL Rovers only claimed their first league win of the season on Tuesday, but a trip to the Memorial Stadium is never straightforward.

Oxford United will need to stop the hosts building up a head of steam and keeping these players quiet could be vital.

LIAM SERCOMBE

The midfielder played a key part in United’s promotion from Sky Bet League Two in 2015/16 and is now in his third season with Rovers.

He has racked up nearly 100 appearances since then and could return to the squad after sitting out Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers.

JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS

The striker was a revelation after joining from Coventry City in January, scoring 11 goals to fire his side to safety.

Clarke-Harris and fellow striker Tyler Smith have shared all of the club’s five goals in 2019/20 and United’s defence will need to be on their game to nullify their threat.

OLLIE CLARKE

The Rovers captain is a Memorial Stadium stalwart, having progressed through the club’s youth system to captain the side.

Graham Coughlan switched to a 5-3-2 against Tranmere and Clarke impressed in the midfield three, where he was able to spread the play to the wing backs.
