Bicester Blue Fins stormed to victory in the first round of the National Arena League in West Bromwich.
Competing against Evesham, Camphill, Cannock Phoenix and Burntwood, Blue Fins finished on top with 246 points in the West Midlands division thanks to some electrifying swims.
The team secured 21 first places and 45 top-three spots over 50 events.
They are now looking forward to the second round on November 9 when Bicester will be playing hosts at Wombourne Leisure Centre.
Head coach Craig Oliver hailed his club’s performance.
“We have started with a bang and our athletes dominated the pool,” he said.
“We put a lot of work into our underwater phase which was evident, and displayed impressive levels of fitness.
“We certainly have our eyes set on promotion this year.”
