Wantage Town and Witney Vikings Hornets shared the spoils in a thrilling Oxford Mail Girls League clash.

The teams drew 3-3 in the Under 15 League, with Rose Kent, Esme Khosla and Daisie Wiseman on target for hosts Wantage.

But strikes from Abi Norgrove, Sophie Taylor and Hannah Knowles earned battling Witney a share of the spoils.

That was not the highest scoring draw of the day, however, with Summertown Stars and Tower Hill Vixens playing out a thrilling 4-4 encounter in the Under 16 League.

Anna Hamerow (2), Alisha Pitts and Natalia Sved scored goals for Summertown, with Jasmin Illingworth (2), Molly Pendrey and Ellie Walecki replying.

The highest scorers were Tower Hill Vixens Under 12s and Hinksey Park Lionesses Under 16s.

Emme Luney (5), Raveen Kaur Phan Purba (5), Erin James (3) and Grace Wilson scored the goals for Tower Hill.

For Hinksey, Lily Harries (5), Courtney Cooke (2), Shanice Wright (2), Elizabeth Wotherspoon (2), Leanne Elias, Abbie Blackmore and Grace Richards found the net.
