BENJAMIN Horseman won gold as two Oxfordshire players went head-to-head in the boys’ doubles final in the Kent Under 17 event.
Horseman partnered Berkshire’s Dillon Chong to a 13-15 21-20 15-8 success over county rival Adam Burden and Andrew Harrison, of Sussex.
Burden then claimed a bronze medal in the singles, along with Jason Ou, who was playing up an age group.
In Devon, Jamie Wakefield partnered nine-year-old Charlie Qi, of Hampshire, to gold in the boys’ under 13 doubles.
He then added a bronze medal in the singles losing narrowly 21-19 to the eventual winner in the semi final.
In Hertfordshire, Banbury’s Jess Street partnered Maggie Moylan, of Hertfordshire, to silver in the under 17 girls’ doubles silver.
She also came runner-up in the singles.
There was mixed doubles gold for Rebecca Norkett and partner Jason Vincent, of Berkshire, in addition to a bronze in the girls singles.
Norkett also teamed up with Burden to take mixed doubles bronze at the Warwickshire Under 17 event, with Burden also reaching the singles’ semi-final.
