ANTHONY Forde and Rob Atkinson remain doubts for Oxford United's clash with rivals Swindon Town on Saturday.

Both players came off with groin problems during the 3-2 win over Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday night.

U's boss Karl Robinson will make a late call on the pair.

He said: "We have to wait and see how Rob's settles down.

"He was fine on Sunday and Monday. He got through the first half with no problems and set up a goal.

"He's not definitely out."

On Forde, the head coach said: "I don't like ruling people out.

"We'll give him every opportunity as you'd imagine."

The game comes too soon for club captain John Mousinho, while Jamie Hanson looks set for another spell on the sidelines after rolling his ankle playing for the under 21s on Tuesday.

United are optimistic Sam Winnall's hamstring issue which ruled him out on Tuesday was just fatigue, although it is expected he will not be risked against Swindon.

Robinson said: "He's going to pick up these minor things because he's not played since March so it was always going to be a long slog.

"The problem with Sam is he pushes himself too hard. He's got to learn to pull back - that's about us getting to know him.

"If I said to Sam 'go and run 12k' he'd run 13. But everything we do is on a schedule.

"He over-commits to things too soon, which puts him in a difficult situation. Less is more sometimes when you're trying to get fit.

"We'll get the balance right and make sure we understand his body."
