Ahead of Oxford United's derby against Swindon Town on Saturday, we look back at the last four league meetings between the sides.

August 21, 2011: Swindon Town 1, Oxford United 2

JAMES Constable's double gave Oxford United a first win at arch-rivals Swindon Town since 1973.

The Wiltshire side's relegation to League Two in 2010/11 ended a nine-year wait for a derby - and they only had to wait until the fourth match of the season.

Swindon boss Paolo di Canio had tried to play mind games leading up to the contest by claiming Constable - who grew up in Wiltshire - was a Swindon fan.

But United's No 9 responded emphatically by powering Peter Leven's corner past keeper Phil Smith to give his side the lead.

The advantage did not last long, with Matt Ritchie nodding home an equaliser from Callum Kennedy's cross eight minutes later.

U's keeper Ryan Clarke was called into action several times as Swindon grew into the game, but it was the visitors who regained the lead shortly before the break.

Smith could only parry a dangerous cross into Constable's path and the striker forced the ball over the line.

Di Canio was sent to the stands after Leon Clarke had a second-half goal ruled out for offside, while Ritchie and Lander Gabilondo also went close.

But United held on to claim a derby win that would live long in the memory.
