Steve Crame hammered eight goals as Lambourn Sports Res demolished struggling Reading League Division 3 side Compton 13-0 in the third round of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup. Terry Amor was also among the scorers with a double.
Drayton Res gave their season a shot in the arm with a 3-0 win at Englefield of the Reading League, thanks to goals from Ben Zaboada (2) and George Brewerton, while Wootton Res went through on penalties against Blewbury Res after a 1-1 draw.
Berinsfield beat fellow Reading & District League Division 2 title challengers Berks and County Sports 2-1, with goals from Danny Brind and Chris Murphy.
In Division 4, Berinsfield Res beat Bell and Bottle 4-1.
Pete Clarke bagged a brace, with Ricky Hastings and Lee Allmond also on target.
