OXFORD United can climb a place in Sky Bet League One without even playing this weekend.
The U’s were due to visit Sunderland tomorrow, but that is one of eight games in the third tier postponed because of international call-ups.
They will be keeping an eye on two of the four fixtures that do go ahead, though.
United are eighth in the table and only trail seventh-placed Bolton Wanderers on goals scored.
It means if Ian Evatt’s side lose at Sheffield Wednesday they will fall below the U’s.

In the unlikely event that Darren Moore’s men win by five goals or more they will go above both United and Bolton, as they would be level on points and have a superior goal difference.
The U’s could also fall a position if Burton Albion win at third-placed Plymouth Argyle, with the Brewers two points behind Karl Robinson's side.
United return to action against The Pilgrims next Saturday, while they go to Burton a week later.
Tomorrow’s other fixtures see Ipswich Town host Shrewsbury Town and Wycombe Wanderers welcome Gillingham, but neither game can affect the U's.
