MATTY Taylor missed out on December’s Sky Bet League One player of the month award.
The Oxford United striker was pipped by Rotherham United midfielder Dan Barlaser for the prize.
Both players scored four goals last month, Taylor’s coming in five games as he took his tally for the season to 12.

Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray and Sunderland midfielder Alex Pritchard were also up for the award.
It is the fourth time a U’s representative has missed out on a League One prize this season, with James Henry nominated for player of the month for August.
Karl Robinson was shortlisted for the managers’ award for October and November.
Taylor is the last United player to win a League One monthly prize, back in February 2020.
