BEN Davis helped Thailand Under 23s dish out their second 5-0 thrashing this week.

The Oxford United midfielder started his country’s thumping win over Cambodia Under 23s at the Southeast Asian Games.

Davis was unable to add to his goal against Singapore Under 23s on Monday, although he hit the woodwork twice.

The 21-year-old struck the top of the crossbar and the post with shots from the edge of the penalty area.

Thailand are second in Group B and have all but qualified for the next stage, barring a 12-goal swing in the final round of matches. They play Laos tomorrow afternoon.

Davis joined United from Fulham on transfer deadline day last summer, signing a two-year deal.

He has made one appearance for the U’s, coming on as a late substitute during the 2-1 Papa John’s Trophy defeat to Stevenage last October.
