NAVEH Kraus led the way as Vale TKD claimed a glittering array of medals at the ITF Taekwondo Scottish Championships.

The youngster followed his European Championship win in March with two golds and a silver across patterns, sparring and flying kicks.

It made Kraus the Overall Competitor for the Junior Black Belt division at the Ravenscraig Arena, in Motherwell.

The Wantage martial arts school finished the tournament third out of 26 teams with an impressive 55 points, claiming ten gold medals, seven silvers and five bronzes.

Remarkably, all 13 members who travelled to Scotland achieved a podium position in at least one event.

It came without the presence of head instructor Carl Davis, whose wife was due to give birth.

Keeping it in the family, Ayana Kraus won double gold in sparring and flying kicks in the Children’s Yellow Belt division.

Meanwhile, Kit Chang Wong was the Overall Adult Colour Belt champion as he secured two golds and a silver in patterns, sparring and power breaking.

Rocco Washington, Noah Hurst, Freya Zywko and Kalid Nasser also won gold as they were crowned champions, while Lilly Emptage, Natasha Turner, Sebastian Zywko & Maxwell Harper each claimed silver.

Aisha Macey and Jacob Harper secured bronze to ensure all Vale members returned home with a medal.
